A combination of transverse flute and recorder, used in folk performing arts of the Millyan Chŏnju region. The two pipes are rarely played simultaneously.
Rather, a single player blows on one at a time, alternating rapidly between the two.
The name of the instrument is also a general term for bamboo flute.
