11月29日から、東京藝術大学（所在地：東京都台東区、 学長： 日比野克彦）は世界７つの芸術大学A7（ARTs7）*の各大学と連携し、「世界平和」をテーマにして、各大学の学生の作品を東京藝大アートフェス2023のメタバース空間にて展示します。https://door.ntt/QG6URr2/

東京藝術大学は、広島で開催された世界の主要国首脳が集う G7 サミットに合わせ、?本発の国際貢献として、Shared Campus**メンバーを中心とした世界の芸術大学と連携し A7を創設し、2023年5月に「ARTs が社会的課題に取り組み世界平和への貢献を目指す。」とした初の共同声明を発表しました。東京藝術大学は、SDGsをはじめとして人間の行動が起因となって表出している社会的諸問題、地球規模の問題について取り組み、国際的な教育研究プラットフォームを担うA7の各大学とともにARTsの役割を発信していきます。

東京藝大アートフェス2023には、A7の芸術系大学から推薦された学生の作品がメタバース空間に展示されるほか、東京藝術大学内の審査によって選ばれた東京藝大の学生等アーティスト作品ごとに、画像や動画が並びます。

seven partner arts universities from around the world,
issued a joint statement on the occasion of 2023 Hiroshima G7 summit
The Tokyo Geidai ARTFES 2023 shows works on the theme of world peace

From Nov 29 , Tokyo University of the Arts (Taitō City. Tokyo, President: Katsuhiko Hibino), in collaboration with the six other arts universities from around the world participating in A7 (ARTs7)*, is showing works on the theme of world peace by students from the universities within the Tokyo Geidai ARTFES 2023 metaverse space.

With the intention of making an international contribution from Japan and timed to coincide with the 2023 G7 summit in Hiroshima, Tokyo University of the Arts launched the A7 initiative in collaboration with arts universities, shared campus partners from around the world (the Shared Campus partner universities). A first joint statement was issued in May 2023, saying that ARTs aimed to tackle society?s problems and contribute to world peace. Tokyo University of the Arts is tackling global challenges, such as SDG achievement, and problems caused by human action. Alongside the other A7 universities, it is highlighting the role of ARTs in providing an international education and research platform.

The Tokyo Geidai ARTFES 2023 metaverse space will showcase student works put forward by the A7 arts universities. There will also be Tokyo University of the Arts students’ selected works.
